Long Branch Lakes

Dream Home

Shoo-Fly Dream Home
To rightfully carry the title of ‘Dream Home,’
a residence must possess, across all its character and components, a gathering of the very best in location, design innovation, materials, craftsmanship, unique features and visual appeal. At Long Branch Lakes, on a large lakefront homesite, a remarkable residence will soon rise that will embody all of those attributes and more.

Called Shoo-Fly, the Long Branch Lakes Dream Home was designed under the supervision of Rick Klewein, one of the community’s owners, and Robert Lambert, CEO of Natural Element Homes and Tennessee Log Homes. Using the company’s advanced virtual design system, the two collaberated over many long months to shaping every detail in perfecting the home’s dramatic exterior look and inspiring interior spaces.

“Like Long Branch Lakes itself, this residence will be one-of-kind in every way,” said Lambert. “All Natural Element Homes are custom designed and all make use of unique materials and products that add interest and a sense of history. For example, in Shoo-Fly, the chimneys will be capped with 100-year old brick, the cedar-shake roof will have aged-metal accents and railings and truss detailing will use limbs and vines from local Mountain Laurel trees.”

And while the residence will be an authentic log and timber home, it will be advanced in its features, stressed Rick Klewein. “From its high tech communications systems and premium appliances to its lighting systems and home theatre, Shoo-Fly will delight visitors and may change the way folks feel about log homes,” Rick said.

On its three floors, the Dream Home will offer over 3,400 sq. ft. of indoor space, plus an additional 870 sq. ft. of outdoor living areas in the form of a wonderful, open-air summer kitchen with gas grill, an outdoor living room with fireplace and large deck areas. “With the lakefront setting and our welcoming climate, we wanted to blur the traditional lines between indoor and outdoor living,” Lambert added.

Sure to be a must-see for those visiting Long Branch Lakes in the future, the Dream Home features three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, 9-foot ceilings, expansive great room with fireplace and 20-foot ceilings, a large kitchen overlooking the lake and many other thoughful extras and premium appointments.
